Brian Ratzel, MD here and delighted to announce that I am the new Medical Director for Divine Laser & Anti-Aging Med Spa in Ormond Beach and am truly excited to work with my colleagues in this health boosting facility. My own journey starts in New York City where I was born and lived in until I graduated college at Columbia University in 1984. Thereafter I migrated only a short way eastward to Long Island where I spent the next 20 years going to medical school at SUNY at Stony Brook, doing my residency in Emergency Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and then starting my career at North Shore University Hospital. Thereafter my career has led me to administrative and clinical positions in emergency departments in Georgia, then western Florida and finally the east coast of Florida. I am very proud of my wife and the work she does as a physical therapist, and my two sons who are both married and in the workforce. Family and well-being are essential to me and my lifestyle, thereby this new endeavor at Divine Laser is “just what the doctor ordered”.

Divine MedSpa was founded in 2015, meet Lori the visionary behind it all. She is a passionate entrepreneur with a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being of others. Lori holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. Her journey with lasers and skin care began in 2002. She is a certified trainer for Cutera Lasers, training physicians and mid-levels on multiple platforms and modalities. Lori was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is bilingual in both English and Spanish. When Lori is not in the office you can find her in an educational training/workshop, or on her yoga mat. Erika holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Central Florida and plans to attend nursing school to specialize as an aesthetic injector. As the licensed esthetician at Divine Medspa, Erika has had a life long love for skincare and wants to help all her clients look and feel their best after every treatment. Erika strives to engage with our audience on social media to provide education on the benefits of our treatments and products.

Graduate of the University of Nebraska and more than 20 years of professional and military medical experience, Mr. Blevins is our practice’s laser specialist and the highest volume injector of fillers and Botox® in Central Florida. Mr. Larry Blevins is a highly trained PA, specializing in cosmetic procedures and the art of laser skin rejuvenation. He is the highest volume cosmetic injector in Central Florida. Larry received his training at the University of Nebraska while serving as a medical officer in the U.S. Army . Larry deployed twice to Iraq and worked inside the trauma unit at Ibn Sina Hospital in Baghdad. He has over 20 years of experience and resides in Fruitland Park with his loving wife Carrie Blevins and his 3 Beautiful daughters.

With a decade of experience in the skincare industry, Katy Kistela is passionate about helping clients achieve their skin goals through personalized treatments and expert care. Her love for skincare and all things beauty began in childhood, making this field not just a career but a lifelong passion. She believes that everyone deserves to feel confident in their skin and takes pride in tailoring each service to match her clients’ unique needs. Currently advancing her expertise, Katy is in school for electrolysis and will soon be a certified laser technician after extensive training and hands-on experience. Her commitment to precision, safety, and the latest advancements in skincare ensures that her clients receive the highest quality treatments. With over 35 years in the medical field, Beth brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and a touch of artistry to the world of aesthetics. She began her journey at Florida International University, earning her BSN in 1990, and spent years as a dedicated RN specializing in oncology, medical-surgical care, wound care, and emergency medicine. Her passion for patient care led her to pursue her MSN at Florida Atlantic University, graduating in 2009, and mastering the complexities of pain management. But Beth's heart has always been drawn to helping people feel their most confident selves—inside and out. Over the past three years, she has embraced the world of aesthetics, becoming a Certified Laser Technician and an expert in injectables like Botox. Her warm and charming personality, combined with her keen eye for detail, ensures that every client feels heard, valued, and absolutely radiant. Beth believes that beauty is an experience, not just a treatment, and she is dedicated to helping her clients achieve natural, glowing results with the utmost care and professionalism.
