Brian Ratzel, MD here and delighted to announce that I am the new Medical Director for Divine Laser & Anti-Aging Med Spa in Ormond Beach and am truly excited to work with my colleagues in this health boosting facility. My own journey starts in New York City where I was born and lived in until I graduated college at Columbia University in 1984. Thereafter I migrated only a short way eastward to Long Island where I spent the next 20 years going to medical school at SUNY at Stony Brook, doing my residency in Emergency Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and then starting my career at North Shore University Hospital. Thereafter my career has led me to administrative and clinical positions in emergency departments in Georgia, then western Florida and finally the east coast of Florida. I am very proud of my wife and the work she does as a physical therapist, and my two sons who are both married and in the workforce. Family and well-being are essential to me and my lifestyle, thereby this new endeavor at Divine Laser is “just what the doctor ordered”.

Divine MedSpa was founded in 2015, meet Lori the visionary behind it all. She is a passionate entrepreneur with a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being of others. Lori holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. Her journey with lasers and skin care began in 2002. She is a certified trainer for Cutera Lasers, training physicians and mid-levels on multiple platforms and modalities. Lori was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is bilingual in both English and Spanish. When Lori is not in the office you can find her in an educational training/workshop, or on her yoga mat. Erika holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Central Florida and she is graduating nursing school in December 2025 and is taking advanced cadaver and training courses to be the best injector! As the licensed esthetician at Divine Medspa, Erika has had a life long love for skincare and wants to help all her clients look and feel their best after every treatment. Erika strives to engage with our audience on social media to provide education on the benefits of our treatments and products.

Veronica is a Licensed Esthetician with 976 hours of certification in Paramedical Esthetics. With extensive training in corrective and advanced skincare, she specializes in acne management, helping clients achieve clear, healthy, and radiant complexions. She is passionate about combining science and artistry in her work, using treatments such as Microneedling, VI Peel, and Moxi to address a wide range of skin concerns and deliver visible, lasting results. Veronica takes pride in creating a personalized approach for each client, ensuring treatments are tailored to their unique skin type and goals. Her dedication to education and staying current with the latest skincare innovations allows her to offer the most effective solutions while providing a comfortable and relaxing experience. Born and raised in Ormond Beach, Florida, Veronica has a lifelong love for the ocean and the outdoors, (always protected with her SPF, of course!). Outside of the treatment room, she enjoys cooking and creating meals from scratch, bringing the same care, creativity, and attention to detail to her culinary pursuits as she does to her work with clients.
